Alabama native Brittany Howard is among 22 performers scheduled to perform at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards ceremony on March 14.
Howard, born and raised in Athens, is among the top nominees at the Grammys this year, with five nominations including Best Alternative Music Album, Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song. All of Howard’s nods are linked to her 2019 solo album, “Jaime.” (”Jaime” also is nominated in the category of Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical; if it wins, the trophy would go to engineer Shawn Everett.)
