Alabama Secretary of State Wes Allen joined the League of Municipalities in celebrating the passage of House Bill 156 this week. The bi-partisan bill removes the requirement for municipal candidates to file Fair Campaign Practices Act (FCPA) reports with the SOS's office if they do not generate or spend more than $1,000 of campaign funds.
