[email protected] The Williamsport Municipal Airport Authority took care of infrastructure-related business and other matters at its monthly meeting Thursday. The board approved a $65,499 payment for pavement work of the apron project. Airport Executive Director Richard Howell reported the work by DGR Excavating LLC is mostly done. An agreement with LR Kimball for rehabilitation of the taxiway lighting was approved. That work is expected to get under way in the spring. The Authority approved an agreement with Beeghley Tree to remove trees at the end of a runway. The trees create an obstruction for certain aircraft, authority members explained.
