It aims to help older adults engage with digital technology and use it to reduce social isolation. The Digital Inclusion Project is open to people around Furness. It includes online sessions for elderly residents, with an online breakfast club currently running every Monday from 10:00am until midday. There are also singing and exercise sessions available too. If needed, Age UK can loan out a number of tablets to residents to help them access the internet and have a team of digital champions ready to help guide them. The organisation is also aiming to team up with fellow firms to build up a library of resources that can protect users against the likes of scamming.
