Breeze Airways' start has been marred by flight cancellations and late-departing flights out of San Antonio and other cities.
Just 12 days after a city-backed celebration of its first departure from San Antonio International Airport, startup carrier Breeze Airways has cut in half its number of flights from the city — the latest blow to efforts to improve air service.
Breeze’s three departures Monday to Oklahoma City, Tulsa and Bentonville, Ark., ended four-day a week service to the destinations, according to flight schedules and disclosures on the airline’s website. Beginning today, service drops to one flight to each destination twice a week.
