Additional charges filed in child rape case By London Bishop - [email protected] FAIRBORN — A former Wright State University professor accused of the sexual assault of a minor has been charged with additional counts of rape and sexual imposition. Jonathan Varhola, 41, was indicted on Jan. 19 on two counts of rape of a person younger than 13, and two counts of gross sexual imposition, according to Greene County court records. The charges are first- and third-degree felonies, respectively. Varhola was previously indicted for five counts of rape and five counts of gross sexual imposition in 2019. He pleaded not guilty to those charges at the time.
