The new building will be home to the expanded interdisciplinary College of Engineering and Technology, including the departments of: Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering Technology (MMET), Civil Engineering (CE), Electrical Engineering & Renewable Energy (EERE), Computer Systems Engineering Technology (CSET), Geomatics, Management, and Oregon Renewable Energy Center (OREC). The project includes 70,000 GSF of new classroom and lab spaces organized around a central “Commons” area. Both the upper and lower levels have multiple labs, with integrated lab support spaces and classrooms. The lower level includes an auditorium, multiple offices and multiple conference/meeting rooms. The upper level includes a large conference room with adjacent breakout rooms, multiple offices and a café at the main entry.
