Active Covid-19 cases jump to 108 in Volta, Oti records two cases

The rate of Covid-19 infections in the Volta Region seems to have increased from 37 active cases to 108 within a week.
The latest update which DGN Online received from the Volta Regional Health Directorate also indicated that two persons have lost their lives to the deadly novel coronavirus recorded in nine out of the 18 Municipality and Districts in the region.
The Ho Municipality which is also the regional capital tops with 41 cases. This is followed by the commercial city of Hohoe with 24 cases.
South Tongu has recorded 18 cases while its neighbour, North Tongu follows closely with 17 cases.
