The City of New Bern is attempting to determine what programs, amenities and equipment the public would like to see included at the planned Stanley White Recreation Center once it is rebuilt.
The city is currently gathering public input through a survey accessed through the City of New Bern website. Survey questions range from what spaces residents would like to see at the new rec center to what activities they would most like to participate in and which elements they consider most important in the design of the new building.
The survey is meant to “determine the style of the center, necessary amenities, and how we can equip the new Stanley White to be a recreation center of the future,” according to the city.
