Menggatal: The Sabah Structure Plan 2030 recommendations are that, “every district reserve at least 40 hectares of suitable land for setting a District Park to conserve nature and rehabilitate the natural environment.” ADVERTISEMENT “The District Park is also to conserve water supply source, watershed and manage water catchment area, besides eco-tourism based on green environment protection.” DBKK has adopted this District Park development as its first development strategy to protect the green natural environment. This was revealed by the Director of DBKK Planning Department Augus Tamaning, during a briefing on the Kota Kinabalu District Plan at Kokol Haven Resort recently.
