Dropped cases & investigation All defense lawyers whose clients were either arrested by or had any interactions with Ur have been notified about the SAO's actions. Mike Graves, head of the Public Defender's Office, said his office is reviewing every case and report where Ur was listed as a witness or had any involvement. Once the checks are done, Graves said, his office turn over its findings to the SAO. Of the seven new cases, four were criminal traffic, two were misdemeanors and one a felony. They happened between August 2020 and April 2021. Ur began working at the MCSO in August 2019 and was a patrol deputy a year later. According to Ur's personnel record, he was the top producer for the month several times.
