She explained, "Focusing on hydration can dramatically improve the overall appearance of the skin and give it a more youthful glow. Ingredients that can achieve this would include hyaluronic acid and niacinamide serum."
If you do have acne-prone skin, pairing these moisturizing ingredients with a retinol is a good idea. Ilyas says, "Adding in a retinol in the evening can reduce the likelihood of these ingredients causing acne as well as boost anti-aging."
