The incident occurred when a man in Afghan National Police uniform opened fire on fellow colleagues who were in the line of duty in Police District (PD) 5 of the provincial capital Kunduz city roughly at midday, a provincial police told Xinhua anonymously. The shooter took a police vehicle and fled the scene presumably joining Taliban militants, the source said.
