The south metro suburb's police department announced Tuesday that a 31-year-old Minneapolis man has been booked into the Dakota County Jail as a "person of interest in relation to the homicide of Bryant Lutgens." Lutgens, a 39-year-old Burnsville man, was found dead in a snowbank Feb. 1 on the 1300 block of 60th Street West, which runs just east of Interstate 494. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office confirmed that Lutgens was fatally shot in the head.
