Salt Lake City School District officials said that during the pandemic, many students have had to find places to do their schoolwork — some use their beds, others a kitchen table or living room couch. The Salt Lake Education Foundation worked with community partners and donors to bridge the resource gap, ensuring students achieve their goals both in and out of the classroom. “The Salt Lake Education Foundation is committed to providing students with tools necessary to be successful in their education endeavors,” James Yapias, director of the Salt Lake Education Foundation, said in a statement. “We will continue working with community partners to create an equitable educational experience for all Salt Lake City School District students.”
