The Congress-led INDIA bloc was leading in 200 seats, a performance exceeding exit poll predictions. The BJP seemed to be facing significant losses in Uttar Pradesh, where the Samajwadi Party was leading in 33 seats. In Andhra Pradesh, the TDP led by Chandrababu Naidu was ahead, while the BJD appeared to be facing a setback in Odisha in the Lok Sabha elections.
