Slightly tweaked headlamps, a revised grille design, and new wheels are visual identifiers for 2022 models. Inside, the ES receives new touchscreen infotainment systems; the ES's driver-assistance tech also gets a few upgrades. Lexus showed off the refreshed 2022 ES sedan at the Shanghai auto show today, but unless it's parked directly next to a 2021 model, you might be hard-pressed to tell the difference. That's probably okay, as this latest generation ES is still looking attractive even though we're midway through its life cycle. Say what you want about the spindle grille, this sedan's design has otherwise aged well.
