Jokic has been arguably the best player in the league this season. He's averaging a near triple-double with 26.9 points, 11.3 rebounds and 8.6 assists per game on .567/.400/.850 shooting splits. Joel Embiid has a slightly higher Player Efficiency Rating - more on him soon - but Jokic leads the league in almost every other advanced statistic, such as Win Shares, Box Plus/Minus and Value Over Replacement Player.

The only real knock on Jokic is that the Nuggets are 13-11, ranking them seventh in the Western Conference. As dynamite as they've been offensively, they currently rank in the bottom half of the league in defensive efficiency.
