2 killed in crash outside vaccination clinic identified

Two women were killed in a two-vehicle crash on Tuesday night in Gainesville, Wyoming County.
Wyoming County Sheriff Gregory Rudolph said that a pickup traveling south on Route 19 struck a car driven by an 83-year-old Perry woman who failed to yield the right of way as she pulled out of the Wyoming County Highway Department, where a vaccination clinic was operating.
Emergency medical technicians from the clinic immediately responded to help the occupants of the vehicles, deputies said.
The two women inside the car — driver as Jacquelin Simpson and passenger Jessie Button, 82, both of Perry — were pronounced dead at the scene, Rudolph said. The pair had just attended the vaccination clinic just before the crash.
