2 arrested after receiving parcel containing kush : comparem

TWO persons who received a parcel containing high-grade kush in San Jose, Batangas have been arrested, Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Debold Sinas said on Monday, January 11, 2021.
Sinas said vape store owner John Yengle Hernandez, 29, and Van Joshua Magpantay, 29, were arrested after receiving the package.
The parcel, which came from the United States of America (USA), contained 500 grams of kush valued at P600,000. Kush is a high-grade cannabis variety.
The parcel was sent by a Nina Manual from California to a certain Demetria Escalona with address in Barangay Dalipit East in Alitagtag in Batangas.
Sinas said Escalona authorized Magpantay to receive the parcel. Magpantay then gave Hernandez’s vape shop address in Lipa City for the delivery.
