The 19th Dhaka International Film Festival (DIFF) will be held in Dhaka from January 16 to 24. The general theme of the festival is 'Better Film, Better Audience and Better Society'. Since 1977, the event has been organised by Rainbow Film Society.
The inaugural ceremony of the DIFF will take place in the main auditorium of the Bangladesh National Museum at 4pm on January 16. Minister of Foreign Affairs to the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, Dr A K Abdul Momen, MP, will be present as the chief guest and Indian High Commissioner Vikram K Doraiswami will be present as a special guest at the ceremony.
