Old Lancing police station forms part of £1million project

A FORMER police station is to be transformed as part of a £1 million regeneration project.
The building in North Road in Lancing has been purchased by Adur District Council for £850,000 after its acquisition was agreed last month.
The council has committed a further £200,000 to bring forward viable proposals for the site.
The council said they have several possible options for the site
It said options for the site could include retail, residential, medical or a community hub.
The project is part of a wider of regeneration of Lancing Village.
Councillor Carson Albury, Adur’s Executive Member for Customer Services, approved the purchase of the site.
