Work is bring carried out to Norton and Presteigneâs wastewater system . Norton and Presteigne’s wastewater system is set for a boost thanks to the start of an £8 million upgrade project by Welsh Water. The work scheduled by the not-for profit utility company will help improve the quality of the water which is released to the environment. This in turn will boost water quality in the Norton Brook and ensure we continue to provide a first-class wastewater service to householders in the area for many years to come. The first phase of the investment work is taking place in Norton and will involve building a new pumping station at the Wastewater Treatment Works and decommissioning the existing assets.
