Scientists may tell you nature relaxes us, fresh air reduces congestion and helps us taste better.
And they say that the great outdoors is, in general, good for our well-being. I'm not one to argue with science, but may I add the unmitigated pleasure of sun, breeze and (perhaps best of all) people-watching?
Those pleasures can be more easily obtained today, thanks to the state allowing restaurants during the pandemic to use alleyways, parking lots, sidewalks and even the street for alfresco dining.
