The 18 returnees have been admitted to the coronavirus unit of Jashore General Hospital, said Subashish Roy, a physician of Benapole Immigration Health Department. "Most returnees out of 1500 have been kept in institutional quarantine at different hotels in Benapole. Their samples will be tested again," said the doctor. A total of 1500 Bangladeshis, who went to India for treatment, have returned home in the last six days, sources at the Benapole port said.
