Randy Thumann and K-9 partner Kolt stopped a Ford F-350 on Interstate 10 at the 667 mile-marker at approximately 12:25 p.m. for a traffic violation. Fayette County Deputy Olvera was on site to assist with the stop. Alfredo Cabrera, 48, of Eagle Pass was arrested for Felony drug possession and taken to the Dan R. Beck Justice Center after a vehicle search led to approximately 17 kilos of cocaine, with an estimated value of $1,700,000, removed from a compartment in the vehicle.
