17 BBMP engineers promoted
The
civil engineers of the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (
BBMP) to the rank of assistant executive engineers (AEEs). They were among the 78 civil engineers, who were promoted to senior posts in 2017, but the order was put on hold after some disgruntled had engineers approached the
Supreme Court, challenging the “premature” orders.
Among the civil engineers who were promoted on Monday include: G Krishna Kumar, Fazal Ahmed, Prakash KS, Mahantesh Buranpur, Deepashree HS,
Sudhakar Reddy, Thippeswamy G and Savitha Padmavathi. Their monthly income will range between Rs 52,650 and Rs 97,100. The order was passed by Lakshmi Sagar N K, under-secretary at UDD.
