GLOVERSVILLE — A 15-year-old Gloversville juvenile was incarcerated in the Fulton County Jail, charged Tuesday with second-degree murder in Saturday’s stabbing death of a Gloversville man.
City police have released the name of the murder victim — William J. Guzek, 59, of 37 E. Tenth Ave. Police said he was stabbed just before 9:30 p.m. Saturday in Gloversville and he later died of his injuries.
A police news release indicates the suspect is a 15-year-old juvenile, without identifying the suspect’s gender or name.
On Tuesday, members of the Gloversville Police Department Detective Division arrested the juvenile and have charged him with felony second-degree murder.
