North Precinct officers were on patrol near Legion Field when, about 2:40 a.m. Sunday, they heard shots fired. They 200 block of Eighth Avenue West where they found two wounded men in the roadway. A third was driven by private vehicle to Princeton Baptist Medical Center where he died.
