After leaving the field of intensive care nursing, I proudly attended Georgia State College of Law in 2000-graduating in 2004, after the sudden death of my husband.
Raising our three kids alone while going to law school was a rewarding but difficult challenge.
I enjoyed every moment of this education and truly fell in love with fighting for families and children.
Additionally, having worked in a variety of nursing areas including pediatrics, child abuse, GYN oncology, and coronary intensive care-my path into medical malpractice was clearly evident in law school, where I took many electives in this specialized area of practice..
