Detailed description is We are a volunteer organization, incorporated by the State of New Mexico, officially recognized by the State of New Mexico Department of Public Safety, and dedicated to the preservation of life through search and education services.
We are equipped with 4x4 vehicles, mountain bikes, snowshoes and cross country skis.
We have personnel trained in low angle rescues, cave rescues, wilderness medicine and tracking.
We also have Amateur Radio operators capable of providing communications in remote areas.
We are able to respond within 1 hour to locations in McKinley county and will respond as quickly as possible to other locations in New Mexico.
We have been involved in over 50 missions in the last three years, some of them well known, all of them successful.
