Detailed description is We aim to reduce the deforestation by replacing the firewood for cremations with improved cow-dung based fuel.
Arth is a social enterprise started by students of IIT Delhi, with the vision to financially empowering farmers via efficient utilization and optimization of resources that are otherwise underutilized.
As of now, we are focusing on use of excessive cow dung to synthesize fuels that will find applications in cremation.
To make the whole process of cremation green and less dependent on wood that causes deforestation, we have articulated a concept of fuel that provides high calorific value.
We are also designing pyres, chimneys and other supporting infrastructure systems to reduce emissions that are generated in the process.
