Tras reunirse en el Monumento Conmemorativo de la Guerra de Corea, ubicado en Yongsan, Seúl, los invitados se trasladaron a la Casa Presidencial, Cheongwadae, con una escolta de honor de guardaespaldas presidenciales y policía.
El almuerzo tuvo lugar en Yeongbingwan, salón que generalmente acoge los banquetes y espectáculos tradicionales en honor a los Jefes de Estado extranjeros. Los invitados fueron recibidos con un protocolo de alto nivel, similar a los invitados de honor del Estado. President Moon Jae-in’s prosecutorial reform is entering a new chapter in the new year, with nominees announced for the inaugural chief of a new anti-corruption body and the justice minister in his final Cabinet reshuffle of the year on Wednesday.
Moon nominated Kim Jin-wook, a former judge and a Constitutional Court scholar, to head the upcoming Corruption Investigation Office for High-ranking officials handling corruption among ranking government officials like prosecutors.

Park Beom-kyePresident Moon Jae-in on Wednesday nominated Park Beom-kye, a three-term lawmaker of the ruling Democratic Party (DP), as the new justice minister, Cheong Wa Dae said.
Park, a former judge, will replace incumbent Choo Mi-ae, who offered her resignation earlier this month following a heated political tug-of-war with Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-youl.
Cheong Wa Dae credited Park as having strong insight and expertise from his work at the judiciary, government and National Assembly, and expected him to complete the work of prosecution reform being pushed by the administration.
Moon also tapped Rep. Han Jeoung-ae, DP s policy chief, as the new environment minister and picked Hwang Ki-chul, former chief of staff of the Navy, to head the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs.
