Karen Rodriguez caught a driver, speeding down Markwood Drive on camera right before he crashed into her neighbor, Dwight Horsey s house. You still could see the tire tracks. He came through the yard, he came down the side of the house, where the living room is at. No one was injured in an early-morning fire in Bethel Park on Monday, according to fire authorities.
Emergency crews were called shortly after 3:30 a.m. to a home in the 700 block of McMurray Road.
Crews found smoke billowing from the two-story home but were able to knock the fire down quickly. All of the residents escaped, authorities said.
An initial investigation showed the fire started near the fireplace/chimney, and fire officials took the opportunity to remind property owners to have fireplaces inspected every year.
