The company has stopped the production in Greater Noida plant. However, all head office functions, India R&D Centre and spare parts operations (including warehouse) for automobiles, two-wheelers and power products’ business will continue to operate from Greater Noida.

New Delhi/Mumbai: Japanese auto major Honda Cars India Wednesday said it has stopped production at its Greater Noida facility with immediate effect to improve business efficiency.
The company, which has been under pressure to grow sales amid a prolonged slowdown in the local market, said to maintain sustainability of operations by leveraging production and supply chain efficiencies, Honda Cars India Limited (HCIL) has decided to consolidate the manufacturing operations for vehicles and components at its Tapukara plant in Rajasthan for all domestic sales and exports.
