Kupwara Administration imposes Covid-19 restrictions across district

Share Kupwara: The District Administration Kupwara is successfully implementing the restrictions imposed as per the guidelines of the Government to contain the ill effects of Covid-19 pandemic in the district. The Magistrates, police officers and Team ARTO were seen on roads to implement the restrictions across the district. 50 percent shops in all towns of Kupwara district including town Kupwara, Handwara, Tangdhar, Trehgam, Kralpora, Wilgam, Langate, Drugmulla, Sogam and Lalpora were seen closed today, following the orders issued by District Magistrate Kupwara. Advisor Baseer Khan For Fast Pacing PMDP Projects SRINAGAR: Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Baseer Ahmad Khan, today urged officers to review the progress of tourism projects under the Prime Minister’s Development Package, SWADESH, on a regular basis and fix any bottlenecks, if any, to ensure that the projects are completed on time. He gave these instructions during a meeting held here to assess the speed and progress of the NPCC and NBCC-led “Mantalai-Sudhmahadev-Patnitop” and “Gulmarg-Baramulla-Kupwara-Leh” ventures, respectively. Sarmad Hafeez, the Secretary of Tourism, gave a comprehensive presentation on the status of projects currently being implemented by the executing agencies.

DC Kupwara reviews formulation of SDAP under SANKALP

Apr 21, 2021 The DC said that the objectives of SANKALP are to decentralise skilling initiatives in the ecosystem, strengthen institutional mechanisms for skill development and increase access to quality and market relevant training for youth across the district. The meeting took threadbare discussion for selection of various trades and it was given out that Dairy Farming Entrepreneurship, Layer Farming, Bee Keeping, Mushroom Grower, CCTV, Solar Panel, Floriculture, Micro Irrigation Technician and other trades were selected. On the occasion, the prescribed template of MSDE was circulated among the participants for formulation of the skill development plan. The DC directed the officers to submit the skill development plan within the shortest possible time so that it is submitted to the concerned authorities.
