A Cleethorpes taxi company has been hit with a suspension for allowing cars to operate without a licence.
Fon-A-Car has been suspended for 48 hours after it tried to appeal the decision which failed.
It came after the company allowed unlicensed private hire vehicles to continue to run.
The order was originally issued in September 2020 by North East Lincolnshire Council’s Hackney Carriage Sub-Committee.

Residents and businesses in Carlisle are being invited to have their say on an updated taxi policy for the city.
Carlisle City Council is asking local residents and businesses for their opinions as part of a consultation exercise involving other authorities such as the police and existing licence holders.
A copy of the city council’s draft Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Licensing Policy (2021-2026) is available on the Carlisle City Council website at www.carlisle.gov.uk/consultations
The consultation period runs until July 12 at midnight.
