NJPW has announced the lineup for Friday s Road to Lion s Break Contender edition of NJPW Strong.
El Phantasmo will make his Strong debut, teaming with Bullet Club stablemates KENTA and Hikuleo in the main event. They will face Fred Rosser, ACH and Blake Christian in six-man tag action.
KENTA is coming off a win at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 15, where he successfully defended his IWGP United States Championship right to challenge briefcase against Satoshi Kojima. ELP lost to Hiromu Takahashi on night one of Wrestle Kingdom, but was victorious in an eight-man tag at New Year Dash, where he and Taiji Ishimori established themselves as the number one contenders for the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag titles.

This was Tiger Mask s comeback match after being sidelined for most of the year with diverticulitis. I am happy to report that his entrance music still rules. This was a nice showcase for the New Japan dads.
Uemura and Makabe started the match with a mat wrestling clinic. Uemura shot for a double-leg takedown and got it. He tried a single-leg, but Makabe blocked. Makabe did some chain wrestling.
