It's impossible to list all my favorite interviews I've done over the last seven years here but as I sit here preparing to do my last few full-time shows there are a few that come to mind. There's obviously every time Buster Olney has been on the show but I actually consider him part of the show and more than just a guest. Obviously, the Super Bowl trips are the base for a lot of the ones I'm most proud of. Let me know if any interviews I've been lucky enough to do are your favorites, please. The Philadelphia 76ers now know their first-round opponent and they can begin (if they haven’t already) scheming to stop the vicious backcourt-led attack of the Washington Wizards. The Wizards have had sort of an odd season. They opened the year 5-15 and looked very much in contention for the first overall pick in the upcoming draft. By late March, they made a trade with the Chicago Bulls to acquire the 22-year-old big man out of Arkansas, Daniel Gafford. Gafford added some much-needed athleticism to their frontcourt and following the player swap, they went on a hot streak between early April through mid-May which got them very much back into the playoff picture.

Before Zach Wilson was selected second overall by the New York Jets, there were questions about his character and leadership for some absurd reasons. So far with in his time with the Jets, he’s shown that he’s capable of handling leadership abilities despite being a rookie. We’ve already seen his relationship on good terms with both Elijah Moore and RB Michael Carter, but a recent social media post has shown Zach Wilson sitting alongside the rest of the Jets rookie class, building a rapport with the other members of the team. Obviously, nearly all of this means nothing in the grand scheme, and the questions regarding Wilson’s leadership skills were always overblown anyway; but it’s still nice to see happen from the outside looking in. Admittedly making a mistake which led to an arrest and being suspended from the Florida State football team, Laveranues Coles was not seen in the best light by some leading up to the 2000 NFL Draft. It was a rough time during that, Coles said. My agent had explained to me that it was during that time when Ray Carruth and Ray Lewis (each faced murder charges) and people were questioning drafting guys with questionable character backgrounds. I figured I fit into that category at that time with what was going on.
