Prep Lacrosse: Duluth Boys, Hermantown/Proctor Girls Win at Home
The Wolfpack boys swept the regular season series over the Stealth, while the Hermantown/Proctor girls avenged an earlier loss to the Wolfpack.

DULUTH, Minn. – The Duluth and Hermantown/Proctor boys and girls lacrosse teams met up on Tuesday night and the teams split, with the Duluth boys getting the 10-5 win while the Hermantown/Proctor girls won 10-7.
Gaven Slattery and Tyler Smith each scored three times while Tommy Smyth scored twice, and Lars Berg and Caleb Kennan each scored once for the Wolfpack. Duluth sweeps the season series over Hermantown/Proctor after getting the 12-3 win last month.
Owatonna Lacrosse Sweeps Big Nine Titles
The Owatonna High School girls lacrosse team clinching the Big Nine title Saturday, in essence repeating as conference champs after winning the title in 2019 and having no season in 2020. They also won the championship in 2018. The Huskies went 5-0 in games that counted toward the standings this spring. A recent loss to Century was a non-conference game as the Huskies won the first meeting.
The OHS boys wrapped up the league title a couple of weeks ago, going 4-0 in conference games. There is a one fewer boys team in the Big Nine as Century is together with John Marshall as a coop this season. The Huskies boys last won the title in 2018.

The Stealth will be back in action on the road on Tuesday taking on Duluth.

HERMANTOWN, Minn. – The Hermantown/Proctor boys lacrosse team couldn’t overcome an early deficit, as Forest Lake got the 10-4 road win on Friday night.
The Stealth have now lost three straight as they fall to 1-5 on the season. Hermantown/Proctor will be back in action on Tuesday taking on Duluth on the road.

DULUTH, Minn. – This past weekend, the Duluth boys lacrosse team picked up their first win of the season with a shutout victory at Ordean Stadium. The Wolfpack are entering their sixth year as a program with a stacked roster, high expectations and the belief that they can win their ever first section title in 2021.
“We have a very experienced attack line that knows how to work together well. Our defense has played together for a long time so it’s just everything clicking,” senior defenseman Eli Zaun said.
