Havana, May 31 (Prensa Latina) Cuban Minister of Culture Alpidio Alsonso noted the presence of brigades of professional and amateur artists, as well as arts students, at the centers set up to vaccinate the population against Covid-19. On his Twitter account, the minister celebrated the initiative, which involves creators from all cultural expressions.
The activities also include presentations by the students of the San Alejandro National Arts Academy, in Havana.
Among the artists are members of the National Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC) and the Hermanos Saiz Association (AHS), and their involvement coincides with the three moments of the Abdala and Soberana 2 vaccines in Havana: the clinical trials, the health intervention and the intervention studies.

Sancti Spiritus, Cuba, Jan 26 (Prensa Latina) The Movimiento Juvenil Martiano (MJM) and the Patria Martiana Project of this central province paid on Tuesday tribute to Cuba s National Hero Jose Marti (1853-1895), on the 168th birth anniversary.
Orlando Ernesto Perez, president of the aforementioned movement in the territory, said that new Marti clubs were created and incorporated to the Provincial Council centers where youngsters from key sectors such as science, culture and education stand out.
The MJM is made up of some 3,000 young people and is linked to several projects, as well as the Jose Marti Cultural Society (SCJM), the Brigade of Art Instructors and the Hermanos Saiz Association.
