During the month of September 2020 Investigators with the Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office and Heber Springs Police Department received information about an individual identified as Gary Henson, 53, of Searcy Arkansas trafficking large amounts of Methamphetamine into the Heber Springs area for distribution. It was related to Investigators that Henson would travel to Heber Springs and distribute from various hotels and other locations in the city. After receiving the information, a joint investigation was opened that included the Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office, and Heber Spring Police Department, along with 16th Judicial Drug Task Force Agents. After months of investigation Detectives acquired a search warrant for the hotel room where Henson was located in Heber Springs. The Search Warrant was executed on Thursday, March 25th, 2021 by the three agencies.
