A felony fugitive, wanted for illegal weapons and other charges was taken into custody after he intentionally crashed into police vehicles and a residential fence, according to police.
Heber City police said they located Jared Luther Pacheco, wanted on felony warrants for offenses including possession of a weapon by a restricted person and fleeing. Pancheco is accused of fleeing in a vehicle and intentionally crashing into two marked patrol vehicles and continuing into a fence in a residential fence. He was located in the Greenfield Circle area of Heber, Heber City Police Department said. Apprehension occurred on Airport Road and Baxter Drive.
A fugitive led police on a car chase in Heber City during which the driver crashed into two police vehicles and a residential fence on Saturday afternoon, authorities said.

HEBER CITY, Utah â A man was arrested in Heber after officers say he fled from an attempted traffic stop and intentionally hit two police cars.
Jared Luther Pacheco was wanted on a felony warrant that included charges of fleeing police and illegal weapon possession, the Heber City Police Department wrote in a Facebook post.
On Saturday afternoon, officers spotted his vehicle in the Greenfield Circle area of town and tried to pull him over.
Pacheco then reportedly drove away, and the officers pursued him. Police say he intentionally crashed into two marked police vehicles in the process.

HEBER CITY, Utah â University of Utah Health and Intermountain Healthcare have both promised to investigate the death of a Heber City man who died one week after getting nine of his teeth pulled at the University of Utah student dental clinic.
Joshua Cordery, 35, was also discharged from Intermountainâs Heber Valley Hospital two days before his death.
The patient was not prescribed antibiotics during either visit.
According to his death certificate, Joshua Cordery died of lung damage caused partly due to a bacterial infection known as streptococcus intermedius bacteremia. A medical examiner wrote Influenza A and bronchopneumonia also contributed to the lung damage.
