Huffman ELKINS A $200,000 cash bond has been set for a man accused of sexually assaulting an elementary school-age girl. Clyde Henry Huffman, 66, has been charged with first degree sexual assault and sexual abuse by a parent or guardian. He is being held in Tygart Valley Regional Jail. Bond was set by Randolph County Magistrate Ben Shepler. According to the criminal complaint, filed by Cpl. S.D. Kyle of the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, officers spoke to a woman on March 26 who said her 10-year-old daughter told her that day that Huffman had sexually assaulted her “approximately three-four years ago.”

Covid Vaccine Gives Small Businesses Enough Hope to Go Bankrupt

Covid Vaccine Gives Small Businesses Enough Hope to Go Bankrupt Bloomberg 12/29/2020 Steven Church © Bloomberg Atlanta Taekwondo Academy stands permanently closed in East Point, Georgia, U.S., on Friday, June 12, 2020. A National Bureau of Economic Research study released last week suggests Black entrepreneurs were in a historic fight for their survival during the shutdowns, with 41% of them closing their businesses, more than double the rate for White owners. (Bloomberg) Going bankrupt is expensive especially for small businesses. As the pandemic intensified, even companies with enough cash to try to reorganize in court lost faith that they’d be able to stay open after cutting their debts.
