Disney+ Pacts with Astro for Malaysian Launch

Disney+ Hotstar arrives in Malaysia on June 1, delivering the platform’s slate of U.S. content as well as an array of local titles, in partnership with Astro.
The service will cost an additional RM5 ($1.22) per month for customers of the Astro Movies Pack subscription. Other bundles will be offered to non-Movies Pack subs. Subscribers will be able to access some 800 films and 18,000 episodes via the Disney+ Hotstar app. Later this year, Astro aims to provide Disney+ Hotstar on the Ultra and Ulti connected boxes.
