HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WWBT) - Henrico County Police need the publicâs help looking for a woman last seen on Jan. 19.
According to police, AtâTaysiya Dye - who goes by âTajahâ - last spoke to her family that Tuesday. Being silent for this long is abnormal for her, they said.

HENRICO Co., Va. (WWBT) - Henricoâs Chief of Police wants to develop new ways to bridge the gap between officers and the community in 2021.
2020 brought a demand for change across the country, and Chief Eric English believes the new year is the perfect time build up a police force focused on accountability, compassion and professionalism.
âWeâve been doing a lot of virtual conversations about critical incidents that affect our community members and theyâve had some input into how we as an organization go into their communities and operate,â he said.

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. Three months after someone shot 12-year-old Jerome Johnson at the Lakefield Mews Apartments, Johnson is out of the hospital and continuing his long recovery from home.
On Christmas Eve, Henrico County Police officers arrived at Johnson s door bearing gifts. It feels good to just give back to the community, especially a child that suffered what he did, one officer said.
Johnson remains in a wheelchair. To have the opportunity to see him smile and make sure that he knows that he is still valued and that he is a child in our community that we are here for, Henrico Police Sgt. Michelle Sheehan said.

HENRICO Co., Va. (WWBT) - Henrico police are investigating a string of larcenies after four vehicles were broken into at a county park in broad daylight.
Just before 4:30 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to a parking lot in Deep Run Park for reports of larcenies.
Upon arrival, officers met with several victims who said personal items were stolen from their vehicles. Investigators said two vehicles had windows broken and two were left unlocked.
