They were involved in a cracker with Walkergate Reserves, but had enough to hold on to secure maximum points in the nine-goal thriller. Goals from leading scorer Jordan Phillips and Darren Jobson put them two goals ahead, but Walkergate fought back to level after the break. They did so again to make it 3-3 after Liam Ridley edged Heddon back ahead shortly after being introduced from the bench. Goals from Marc Tweddle and substitute Terry Hall put Heddon in the driving seat and they rode a storm late on as Walkergate hit back to take the score to 5-4.

For the 18-year-old scored the goal which earned Prudhoe YC Seniors a slender victory over Tyne Valley rivals Hexham, keeping his side on top of the Division One table. The strike from the teen, who regularly turns out for the club s Development side, earned a crucial three points and saw a happy return to action for the first time in a month due to a second national lockdown. The game was originally due to take place at Hexham s Wentworth Leisure Centre but was switched to Kimberly Park to ensure the game could go ahead.
