HURON, S.D. - Richard VanOverschelde, 84, Huron, S.D., died Monday, May 10, in Huron Regional Medical Center.
Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Thursday, May 13, at Welter Funeral Home in Huron. A funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday, May 14, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Huron, S.d. – Stacie Dowling has been promoted to information services (IS) director for Huron Regional Medical Center (HRMC), according to Erick Larson, president and CEO for HRMC.
Dowling has worked at HRMC for more than 17 years, most recently as the project manager for the hospital’s new electronic health record implementation. In her new role, she coordinates and directs IS-related activities for the hospital and clinics, provides administrative direction for the IS team to set and achieve goals, meet quotas, eliminate security risks and provide technology solutions that lead to improved patient and staff experiences. Dowling also defines and implements IS policies, procedures and best practices and functions as the HRMC’s Security Officer.
