Woman killed in shooting outside Heroes Lounge dancehall

A 29-year-old woman was fatally shot Sunday afternoon outside a dancehall in the Stemmons Corridor, Dallas police say.
Officers responded to the shooting about 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Heroes Lounge along Interstate 35E, between West Mockingbird Lane and Inwood Road.
Witnesses told police a disturbance had broken out in the parking lot and a gunman fired multiple times.
The victim, identified by the Dallas County medical examiner’s office as 29-year-old Dorothy Nyabuto, died at a hospital, police said.
