Hilton, N.Y. - A principal in the Hilton School District accused of sexually abusing several young students, has pleaded not guilty.
Kirk Ashton, principal at Northwood Elementary School, is accused of sexually abusing at least 11 students over several years.
Ashton was indicted on 25 charges by a Monroe County grand jury.
The judge lowered Ashton s bail to $250,000

GREECE, N.Y. (WHEC) The principal of Northwood Elementary School in Hilton Wednesday night was charged with multiple counts of inappropriate conduct with male students.
News10NBC crews caught Kirk Ashton leaving the Greece Town Court building after pleading not guilty to nine felony charges. He is accused of sexually abusing multiple boys at the school over several years according to the Monroe County District Attorney s Office.
New York State Police say he is charged with multiple counts of endangering the welfare of a child, first-degree sex abuse, and second-degree course of sexual conduct against a child.
A Hilton elementary school principal is accused of sexually abusing students. According to the Monroe County District Attorney’s Office, Northwood Elementary School principal Kirk Ashton was arraigned Wednesday night in Greece Town Court. New York State Police said the felony charges include six counts of first-degree sexual abuse, five counts of second-degree course of sexual conduct against a child and nine counts of endangering the welfare of a child. State Police said there are nine victims, all boys. The current allegations date back to 2017, and all the incidents happened at the school. The victims are between 8 and 12 years old.
